Vision Statement

Our vision statements are based upon the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-40).

“…Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matt. 28:19-30 NIV)

 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matt. 22:37:40 NIV)

here are the five vision statements of Johor Bahru Baptist Church:

  1. To be a spirit-filled church that will reflect the love, the life and the light of God in service to the community.
  2. To be an Equipping church that disciples and prepares members of the body for service.
  3. To be a praying church that seeks God for spiritual renewal and revival.
  4. To be a mission church that sends and supports labourers in the harvest field.
  5. To be a family church that builds bonding among worshippers through fellowship, love and care.
